Deer in the garden

We lost most of our rose buds earlier this year, the rhubarb was munched and the strawberry plants decimated. I had to launch a major rescue programme to salvage my tomatoes.  It was all totally forgiven and forgotten for the sake of ten breathless minutes at breakfast time this morning as we watched these two beautiful creatures nibbling the grass on the lawn.
